A website of significance

I'm going to suggest a website that could change your life, or at the least cause you to plan a little road trip.

For Montana patients struggling to find a supply of medicine, this website could be a partial answer. And YES, if you are a registered medical marijuana patient in Montana, you can purchase medicine through the outlets discussed at this website. You have to show up with your credentials (card and identification) but you may be able to be pre-verified, by calling ahead.

You'll have to register to access this very important website, but that only takes a few moments. It takes a little more time to get a sense of how the site works but here's a clue: Click "Menus".

If you are registered medical marijuana patient, Go! http://www.weedtracker.com/

This is a good website. There is alot of good, useful information there.

The only drawback is that they don't allow discussions on growing mj.

cannabis.com is the exact opposite. You can talk all day about growing, but you can't send PMs and if you mention hooking up with anyone for any reason, you get banned. Two sites for two uses.

I got a question, how does a MT patient buy from a bunch of CA co-ops? I searched and looked everywhere, but everything was out of state. This is so frustrating!

A MT patient can buy from a California co-op by sending copies of paperwork ahead. The co-op contacts MT authorities and validates the registration.

Then, the patient must travel to CA to receive medicine. After that first trip, the pt. may be able to make arrangements to have medicine shipped.

MTPFU is exploring the idea of organizing a trip of several patients. Is there support for this idea?

FYI - all coops at weedtracker have a no shipping rule. Believe me, i tried. Basically the only way you're getting meds in this state is to go around missoula at mid-night asking people. Seriously, I live on the other side of the continental divide, and the only meds I've had in a year were from my trip to missoula.

Anon...there are caregivers all over the state, not just Missoula. The other patients could help you IF they'd participate in this blog!

My husband and I are looking to become caregivers for more patients. We have been trying to find the best way to help patients get medicine, but as you all know, it's difficult to do this. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know! Thanks -

It adds to the risk of federal prosecution when you obtain medicine from another state. There are caregivers here in Montana who can provide the genetics and quality of medicine needed for any illness.

To contact a caregiver network in Montana a registered patient would need to leave some contact info. Medicine does cost money however some caregiver networks work on a sliding scale after developing a relationship with their patients.

We have all gotten our medicine on the Blackmarket. I feel like it is important to use all the resources you can before doing this. Much of the commercial medicine is grown by organized crime. These people are polluting our forests and underminding the medical movement. many Medical pot growers have had conflict with these folks, some have been violent. Although not such a big problem in Montana, in Northern California these are the armed, Booby trap setting growers that give the feds more propaganda. Get your medicine from someone who cares about you. It will do your body and your budget right.

I was in Arcata,California 2 months ago, visited the 3 despensiaries in town with my montana medical card and full medical records........NO WAY! Thats what I was told in every single one...These are state programs if your not a resident too bad. Too much federal pressure. I dont know how the rest of california is but if you think your going to get meds legally in the heart of humboldt your not the park is the only place I could find meds and the quality was nothing like mine. Tough finding meds on the road...

You are right Rich. It is tough getting good meds on the road. This time of year in Northern Califorinia paranoia and stress are running very high; no pun intended. Prices are not as low as you would hope out in Cali either. I was a patient there for 3 years. It is not like a stienbeck novel. Many growers and dispenseries are getting top dollar for what I consider B grade outdoor medicine. Some examples we will not follow here in Monatana. Namaste
